THE ESSENTIALS OF DESIGN

Why You'll Love BareForg

Give your toes room to spread naturally, with an easy, spacious fit that feels good all day.

Keep heels and toes on the same level for a natural stance, wherever the day takes you.

Stay close to the ground with thin, flexible soles that bend with you through every step.

Ultimate Softness, Pure Flexibility

Traditional footwear forces your feet into positions that defy natural biomechanics, restricting movement and creating long-term discomfort. BareFrog Libre series works with your feet, not against them. A zero-drop sole promotes natural alignment from the ground up, relieving stress on ankles, knees, and lower back. A wide toe box lets your toes spread freely, enhancing balance and eliminating constraint.

Every step feels light and responsive—the supremely flexible sole follows your foot's natural movement pattern. Breathable, lightweight materials keep you comfortable all day, making Libre the ideal choice for those prioritizing foot health without sacrificing everyday wearability.

Wide toe box designed to move with your feet, not against them.

Feel the ground beneath you and move with greater flexibility.

Buy insoles!

I love the room, but you will have to buy insoles. Invest in a good pair, I worn the for 5 hours and my legs and ache was hurting. The next day I bought insoles and they feel so comfortable now! They look funny too but gonwith funny looking over comfort.

Finally, shoes that let my feet actually move naturally

Switched to these after dealing with foot fatigue from standard cushioned shoes, and the difference has been noticeable — the wide toe box means my toes aren’t cramped together all day, which helps with circulation and overall comfort on long days on my feet. Zero-drop design took a few days to adjust to, but once broken in, it genuinely feels more natural than a traditional shoe with a built-up heel. Lightweight and breathable, doesn’t trap heat even after hours of wear. Grip is solid on both pavement and uneven terrain, didn’t slip during regular walking or light trail use. Non-slip sole gives confidence on smooth or wet flooring too. Great option if you’re transitioning to minimalist footwear or just need something that doesn’t fight against your foot’s natural shape.

Not advanced… but not horrible

I have a mixed opinion. I actually disagree with a lot of reviews here. I have been walking barefoot for a large portion of my life. So my toe spread and walking pattern is actually where a barefoot person should be. Rather than having trained it in shoes. I got these shoes because I’m living in a city where I can’t barefoot walking safely anymore, I have a few problems with it. #1, there is a insole that provides arch support which is something I don’t want because it shapes my foot’s movement away from natural. And 2, it doesn’t have a wide enough toe box for my toe spread so i actually am not walking how I would when barefoot. The insoles can be removed and there it does has a flat surface, but due to the toe box not being wide enough that is pointless, because my foot is constricted which makes flat walking not as safe for foot health. This is a good beginner shoe, it’s cheap and you definitely can feel the ground better, and has a wider toe box than some shoes. But as someone whose foot pattern and arch muscles are already developed it’s no different from a normal shoe for me.

Very nice shoes.

WOW! These are really nice shoes for the low cost. Time will tell about the longevity and wear. But the comfort is excellent. The toe box is large and roomy. (I wear an ankle-foot orthosis due to foot drop, and there is plenty of room for the toe supports and the orthosis. The zero-drop feels odd at first, but becomes very comfortable after a few minutes. The soles are like a soft gum rubber and really feel like it sticks to the floor. I am very impressed with these shoes, so far.

Happy with them.

The concept of these shoes is solid. I had tried other brands, but they were poorly made. I just put these on, they feel great. The sole seems to be the right thickness. They fit great. Soles don't feel slippery. As a bonus, or maybe not, I injured my knee a while ago. Really don't know how, suspect the shoes I was wearing. It is taking a long time to heal. In these shoes it feels....maybe the word is rested. I like the color selection as well.

Great indoor work shoes with one little “but”

I bought these to replace my slippers and use strictly as indoor shoes. Unfortunately, the built-in support wasn’t comfortable for me, and I noticed the heel pain in my foot seemed worse. I almost returned them.Buuuuut with new insoles (purchased separately $12), these went from almost-returned to absolutely amazing. They’re comfortable for all-day indoor wear and have worked great as a solo cleaner on my feet allll day!Overall, for the price, I’m really happy with them with the added insoles. I’ll definitely purchase them again once these put in their miles 👟

Very light

It took a minute for me to get used to it; the front is slightly more elevated than the back (think reverse heels), so after walking a lot on it, my legs were feeling a bit sore. Very comfortable and light.

Great shoes!

I love these shoes!!! I work in healthcare and have spent so much money on the most expensive shoes, only to have them feel so uncomfortable within a month. I wanted to try a pair of barefoot shoes. I wore these for two days straight while on vacation in Philly and Hershey PA. My feet felt great the entire time. No foot pain. No lower back pain. No heel pain. I’ll wear them to work also and see how well they hold up. So far, I definitely don’t regret buying these.

Great Shoes!

Very comfortable. Don't walk on gravel or use for river shoes. You feel gravel. Meant more for sidewalks, shopping, in house and yard. Great shoes. Very pretty, color is richer than it appears. Great value. This is not a arch support shoe. Buy them for the other great qualities.

Worth every penny

These are amazing. Really. Light weight, cushioned sole, zero drop, wide toe, AND under $30! The laces allow you to get a tight fit and the sole is very grippy. I don't expect them to last forever, but will certainly but again.

May need half size bigger

May need to order half size bigger. Tried on and seem very comfortable except for the big toe which seemed to hit up against the shoe. I could tell that if i wore them, after a few steps it would start to hurt my toe. So im exchanging for half size bigger.

VERY comfortable!

Very comfortable and cute! Insoles are nice and feels like I'm walking on a cloud. No break in will be required with these for sure! I knocked off a star only because one shoelace is narrower in width than the other. Not a deal breaker though. I bought two more pairs of these shoes and plan on wearing them a lot! Do know that these run small. I had to go up a 1/2 size and the fit is perfect even with socks.

True size

True size barefoot shoes !!!I’m a size 6M in most of my shoes .I ordered these barefoot shoes in size 6 considering it has wide toe box , I don’t need to size up at all .I’m wearing it with a no show socks ( it feels better with socks on ) especially if you’re going to wear for walking and on treadmill .I like it so far . I hope it holds up but for a bargain price of $32.00 , I think it’s worth it . I may order another pair in different color in size 6.5 this time just for comparison. Get yours today !!!

Pleasantly surprised

This type of shoe has been recommended to me for quite some time. I was very doubtful because I have a Morton’s neuroma. I have been wearing them around the house without any of my orthotics or metatarsal pads and they are very comfortable. I’m going to try to play pickle ball with them this afternoon.

Great for my wide flat feet, sizing was spot on for barefoot style shoes.

I do not understand the low ratings on these. I am a teacher so on my feet all day. I have wide flat feet and usually take an 8 wide in non barefoot shoes. I ordered a 7.5 based on my experience with barefoot shoes, and they fit perfectly! Literally the most comfortable thing next to being barefoot. I feel steadier on stares and they have good traction on shiny linoleum floors. I plan to order a few more colors. As for durability, it remains to be seen, and they are not expensive as shoes go, if I get a school year out of them, well worth the money!

Very happy I bought these

I bought an expensive pair of ASICS for my daily walks and was so disappointed. Every walk was so painful because they squeezed my toes badly. I really wanted them to work, so I bought a shoe stretcher to try to widen out the toe box. Even if I left them stretched for days, they would still shrink back, which I suppose is a testament to their durability. Still, they were unwearable. So I gave up on those and bought these instead. They are wonderful! They are so much more comfortable and my toes have breathing room. I wish I would have saved myself some money and bought these first.

The way your body should move

I am 4 months post op from a hip replacement and I have had hip, back and neck pain. Today when I wore these shoes for my morning walk I could feel the areas in my body responding to the change in how I was walking based on the shoe. Also, at the end of my walk I noticed that my pelvis seemed to be in a neutral position. They are so comfortable I haven't taken them off yet! They come in so many colors but I wish there was a pair of solid black. BTW-I bought the red ones to replace a pair of red Nikes.

Hairstylist Happy Now

Hairstylist for over 40 years. ALWAYS had top rated shoes for standing up to 10 hours. 2 years ago I got a pair of thick sole shoes. My troubles began and then I got another pair different brand. No good! Went back to my old faithfuls and still no good. I just figured it was going to be this way from now on. I would change shoes during the day to get some relief. I had no expectations for these shoes. I got them to knock around in. Got in a hurry one day and went to work with my new grounded shoes still on. I almost panicked but remembered I keep extra shoes in my car. I got to work and was busy all day. At about mid way through 4 hours I realized my feet weren’t hurting. I couldn’t believe it!! This shoes are awesome!! I get funny remarks all the time because of the different look. I don’t care! My bunions are better my broken toe is better! And my arch is fine! My balance is great now and in only 4 weeks I can tell I’ve built strength in my calves and I’m sure as well in my feet. I have worn these to work everyday since the first time. One day I had a client that brought me a new pair of a name brand relief shoe. I immediately put them on because I have heard so much about them. I had two more hours of standing to go and at the end of my day my feet were hurting from the relief shoes. I was not happy. Im not sure how long they will last but I’m going to get another pair soon and many more. Heck maybe one of each color. I’m so grateful.

Measure your feet - they run small

Definitely measure your foot when sizing. They run small and I ordered up to the 9 and it fits well with room for a thin sock. I find them very comfortable and really appreciate that my toes have room to spread. I go barefoot a lot when I'm at home and as I have neuropathy in both feet only wear wide toe shoes so these shoes immediately felt good on my feet. I would have liked them to have elastic laces so I don't have to sit down to put them on and adjust the laces and tie them everytime (and didn't like how they were laced so redid that) and a loop at the heel would be helpful for ease in getting them on. They look like regular athletic shoes with the stripes on the sides. I got the green with pink stripes and they look good with jeans. Will see how durable they are as time goes by.

ALMOST a 5 star! So close!

AHHHHH I WANT TO RAVE ABOUT THESE SHOES!! I’ve been wearing them for like 2 days now and they are the best, most comfortable shoes I have ever worn! I’m a size 10 US ladies and they fit me perfect. THEY DONT RUB THE BACK OF MY ANKLE! Every brand new pair of shoes I’ve had rubs until I break them in — not these! They’re so comfortable, so breathable. The shoe laces are thick. I love the zero drop heel and wide toe box.The ONLY reason I docked a star is - the ball of my foot. There’s not really a lot of padding in that area of the shoe. I do love the insert they provide, it’s nice and cushioned everywhere else.Just fix that and these are 5 star.2 MONTH UPDATE:I have worn these shoes to do errands, do my 3 mile 1 hr walks multiple times a week, and just generally choose them over all my other choose because of COMFORT! The ball of the foot issue subsided after wearing and getting used to them for about a month. I have gotten many questions from passerby’s asking me what shoes I’m wearing and where I got them. I point them here and rave about how amazing and comfortable they are.
