BareFrog shoes are designed to follow the natural shape of your feet. They fit securely through the midfoot and heel, while offering a spacious Wide Toe Box for your toes to spread naturally.

• Standard / Narrow Feet: Order your regular sneaker size.

• Wide Feet / High Arches / Prefer Thick Socks: We recommend sizing half a size up (0.5 size up).

• Using the Transition Insoles? No need to size up! Our shoe interior is already engineered to accommodate the complimentary 4mm transition insoles perfectly.

3. How To Measure Your Foot (3-Step Guide)

For the most accurate fit, we recommend measuring your foot length in centimeters from heel to toe.

1. Step 1: Stand Against the Wall

   Place a piece of paper on the floor against a flat wall. Stand upright on the paper with your heel lightly touching the wall. Wear the socks you plan to wear most often.

2. Step 2: Mark Your Longest Toe

   Use a pencil held straight up and down to mark the furthest point of your foot (usually your big toe or second toe) on the paper.

3. Step 3: Measure & Compare

   Use a ruler to measure the distance from the edge of the paper (heel) to your mark. Match your measurement with our Foot Length (CM) column above!

Q: The toe area feels unusually roomy. Did I order too big?

A: Not at all! This extra space is the signature feature of barefoot footwear. Your toes need room to splay out straight so your foot can absorb impact naturally. As long as your heel isn't slipping out when walking, extra room around your toes means the shoe is working perfectly.

Q: What should I do if I am in-between sizes?

A: If your foot length falls right between two sizes, we strongly recommend choosing the larger size. Your feet naturally expand slightly throughout the day and during long walks, so extra room ensures maximum comfort.

Q: Will adding the Transition Insole make the shoe feel tight?

A: No. We specially engineered the shoe's internal volume to fit both the thin barefoot baseline AND our 4mm transition insoles without squeezing your foot.
